Stiffest shirt out of the box I’ve ever seen. I’m sure that they will soften with a few washings. I bought two of these shirts in different colors. I purchased them in 2XL. I’m pretty sure a 3XL would be huge on me. I’m about 5′ 7″ tall and weigh about 180 pounds. They both look great. They both fit me a little on the large size. Having read a lot of the reviews I am a little concerned about them shrinking so I plan on washing them in cold water and hang drying them. If they work out I plan on buying a few more of them.

Although, the shirt is quite stiff when it is first purchased (as most that have purchased these kinds of shirts knew it was going to be), you new peeps may not know that. The shirt does loosen after it has been worn several times. Every man has a cowboy side to him.

Very good quality shirt. The material is STIFF as other have written (even after a couple of washes), but that is a plus as it keeps the wind out on chilly days and should be VERY durable and long lasting. Plus if you don’t have a clothes hanger, just set it in a corner (LOL).

It was my first firm finish shirt. Stiff as hell but that has changed after wearing it often and all day long. A litte pacience was required. Now after a few months it’s much softer. I believe, the trick is moving and sweating… well, it’s a work shirt anyway… I wash it on a mid temperature, iron it on high temperature and steam it. This shirt fits, feels and looks better with time. Now I own one of almost every color that’s available.

I’ve purchased these shirts at a local cowboy clothing store, and let me just say that they are both some of the BEST dressing shirts AND work shirts out there. They are very rough shirts, that really shape your body well. They hold up well on hard working days as well as a night out for dinner.
Great shirts , but beware, these are NOT soft shirts. They’re rough and take some time to get use to. I personally like them this way, because they feel authentic to that western cowboy look.

This is a good quality shirt. The stitching is good. The snaps all work nicely. I will be buying more of these in different colors. I wear jeans with a 32 inch waist. This shirt fits me very well. But if you are a big waist guy, it will be too tight for you.
